ipod compatible-fridge from Gorenje

After mounting the world’s favourite music machine that you know as iPod at precisely every possible place, right from your T-Shirts hood to undies and teddy bears and usual docking stations…the journey of iPod has reached it’s next destination- the refrigerator. Gorenje has taken a step forward by making the world’s first “made for iPod” refrigerator. Launched at the IFA 2008, the fridge features an iPod dock that keeps recharging the iPod together with playing music on the fridge’s built-in speakers.

This agreement between Gorenje and Apple to amalgamate the two technologies has resulted in this advancement in home appliances. Another thing that ads into the popularity and style quotient of this fridge is the fact that it is Wi-Fi connected, thus, has all the powers to control the rest of your home appliances.
If this was enough to make you drool for this technological wonder and its price is what you are guessing next then let me tell you there’s no info on the price as yet, though we would suggest you to keep the budget big as it’s definitely going to be a pricey pick.

Is this a BlackBerry Storm 9530 or a BlackBerry Thunder?
Posted in Cell phones, Mobile phone on 29 August 2008

blackberry-storm-verizon-box Is this a BlackBerry Storm 9530 or a BlackBerry Thunder?
Whenever the launch date of a BlackBerry is announced people rush to get themselves. Discussions ensue over mugs of beer and blogs about the features, design and which BlackBerry is the ‘BestBerry’. These discussions seem to confuse rather than help those who are not savvy about the Berrys when it comes to choosing one that would suit them the best. RIM seems to be confusing its users even more by launching the new BlackBerry under two marketing names. The BlackBerry Storm 9530 and the BlackBerry Thunder appear to be the same phone in different packaging.

The BlackBerry Storm 9530 will be launched by Verizon in October and its doppelganger, the BlackBerry Thunder will be released by Vodafone and Rogers. Leaked packaging of the BlackBerry Storm/Thunder (I am not sure which now) shows some of the features that we can expect on it/them. This includes 8GB microSD, 3.5mm headset jack and pre-installed SIM card apart from other features. The model surprising does not offer wi-fi capability. I suppose RIM would soon start advertising the BlackBerrys with the tag, ‘What’s in a name?’
