So you’re sitting at your system typing away furiously trying to finish your work on time. Reading from one window and noting down points in another, comparing pictures and typing away even faster. Your eyes are burning from staring so intently at one screen. So with all this, do you really need another screen to stare at? Apparently you do, because the Dual Display Laptop requires you to do exactly that. This two-in-one laptop includes another screen, interestingly hidden beneath the pull-out keyboard.
The Dual Display Laptop is designed by Electronic Keyboards and would come into production if it manages to generate enough interest amongst computer users. The keyboard is designed such that it splits in the middle to pull away from each other, appearing much like the brick wall that splits open to lead Harry Potter into the magical world of Diagon Alley. The Digitizer/Touch Screen on the lower screen allows you to Sketch’N’Send via the net and open files on the upper screen can be dragged and dropped to the lower to make more space.
Although the design appears cool and perhaps there are people who need to look at two screens apart from multiple windows in each, typing on the keyboard may become a bit difficult, especially at the split ends. Still, this may be the birth of a whole new generation of computers.
