The sun table brings to you another reason to thank the Sun God and be happy. Designed by Brooklyn based designers Devang A. Shah and Mike Low, the Sun Table when exposed to sun automatically stores backup energy, thanks to its big surface area perfect for the photovoltaic cells to snap in some sun power.
Made in teak and stainless steel, the sun table homes an integrated 64W unbreakable solar panel that charges even if it’s partially covered. Don’t worry of the take-care! The table is durable enough and can stand the tough weather.
Talking about the power, the table generates 13 amp hours at 12 volts, which equals 156 watts/hours that are good enough to power your laptop or portable TV for more than four hours. While the included inverter, gives you a regular wall outlet.
Want some more power packed action? Just tilt the table along with the hinge available to give it more sun exposure for more power. And the meter displays show the battery voltage and total hours the table has been on. Keep in mind the beep that comes when the table is low on power!

It seems the name of our blog should be changed to ‘conceptgadgetsblog’ for everyday we talk about one or the other concepts like the Ubicycle, the no-contact jacket or the cup or the . But then, it’s not even our fault, every new day brings with it a new concept that simply irresistible. What we are talking about today is the Digitable coffee table.
Apart from being a normal coffee table, this one is a complete multimedia hub that features a CD/DVD player and a disc storage carousal inside it. If that was the gadgetery in it, the looks are par excellence. It’s glossy, it glassy and yes it’s good too.
So what are you waiting for? Just glue to your plasma Tv and watch your favourite movies and sip those warm sips opf coffee on you very own ‘Digitable Coffee Table’. Designed by Peter Lea, this is one concept I’m praying to get into reality as fast as it can!
