crashplan-pro Crashplan Pro: Never Lose your Data Again

System crashes are the worst thing that could happen to any nerd. The idea of losing all their hard-work must be enough to make a few want to jump off the roof. Any sane computer user knows it is a great idea to keep all their important files backed up, and if you are looking for a plan to save your data from crashes then check out the Crashplan. This uses a peer-to-peer system to backup your data from one computer to another one.

Files can be backed up onto over ten systems or even a local hard drive. Other Crashplan features include Mac, PC and Linux interoperability that would allow you to backup a Mac on a PC, and so on. Local, Network, Internet and ‘cloud’ backups are also offered. Data can be backed up at the sub-file and Crashplan also offers continuous backups so that your files would be backed up in real-time or on an hourly basis and between multiple locations. Crashplan Pro would be a great way to save your business from a legendary fall; the working of it appears to be even better than Apple’s Time Machine.

E-ball: Tiny Round PC from the future

E-ball futuristic PC

Designer Apostol Tnokovski has break free the good old PC from the shackles of the monotonous squares and rectangular shape with his newly designed wonder in a spherical shape. Christened as the E-Ball is nothing but just a 6-inch orb-shaped PC which is being heralded as “the smallest PC ever made.”

It is definitely small when it comes to the size but as they say all good things come in small packages, this tiny round PC is no exception. It is loaded with all features that you can only dream of to have in a regular PC. It comes packed with a projected keyboard and display.

It recognizes your fingers with the help of an IR sensor when you are typing at a particular place, while the mouse is a pop out wonder making this an exiting piece of technology. Apart from that, E-Ball works on a dual core processor, a 250 to 500GB HDD, 2GB of RAM, integrated graphic card and sound card, 2 x 50W speakers, HD-DVD recorder, laser keyboard, LAN and WLAN card, modem, webcam and an integrated LCD projector.

More battery and storage for Eee., Asus, Asus Eee, pc

Asus is still in his thirteen with the expansion of the range EEA, not in vain made them grow tremendously. Now announce some developments for the next models coming this year. One of the novelties will be the battery that one day as its name suggests, will last a lot to the current 6 or 9 cell, which did not give more than 5-6 hours. What will be interesting to see how large are / heavy and how many cells.

Another novelty is the increase in storage capacity via the Internet. What is usable but is not the best we can find. Indeed, it is often better to have data stored on multiple cards SD / SDHC because the lives of these ultraportátiles is not exactly a lot.
