Sometimes it seems that Apple simply forget to have some products in the catalogue and that they remain there, real estate, until someone will remember them. For a comparison we take for example the ‘iMac: the first version G5, based on the design of its Cinema Display, is dated August 2004.
Since then the ‘all-in-one has been well-2 major restyling and numerous small updates. A big difference.
The ecology could, however, come to the aid of those hoping for new screens: the only reason that could push Cupertino to update the range, which apparently still sells well despite the obsolescence is’ commitment made by Steve Jobs to free Halogen of polluting technology in the near future.
According to the latest rumors, would be the Macworld San Francisco the most likely for the announcement: in January could end the long agony of the Cinema Display, a chapter a little embarrassing in the history of Cupertino…

A new research conducted by Yankee Group reports that, in the enterprise, consent to the Mac is constantly rising. Analysts believe the Mac, words, is gaining a significant acceleration among corporate users.
The research was conducted via the Web from a total of 750 IT administrators and managers, and the results seem quite encouraging: 4 out of 5 cases – that is a decent 80% – they have Mac OS X in its network, and a fourth of these 750 will have a significant amount (that is, more than 30 or 50, depending on the size of the company in question). Yankee Group says:
Although the hardware repono and Mac OS X operating system still represents a small niche, the adoption and acceptance Mac and its OS are growing at a sustained pace and that no firm saw from the 80s.
Finally, the analysis points out that to urge the adoption of computer designed in Cupertino play a predominant role technologies such as Safari, iChat, FileVault, Time Machine and all the other applications bundled together dates for the machinery.
