We have seen a number of handsets that not only pack great technology but also many features that were virtually unheard of a couple of years ago. However, all that we all lacked was a high end waterproof handset that packed in all the features that we usually see in other high end models.

Fujitsu Ltd has unveiled the F-01A, which comes with a 3.2-inch 864 x 480-pixel LCD touch panel, GSM, bluetooth, and everything else that is usually associated with a high-end model. The waterproof abilities conform to the IPX5/IPX7 standards and could prove to be a great asset to travelers, people in tropical areas where it rains a lot and elsewhere. It also packs in GPS abilities.

Hewlett Packard is one company I would swear by, if you ask me about great laptops and notebooks. However, they always have seemed to lag behind other companies when it comes to touchscreen, phones and other gadgets. The company apparently realized its follies and has decided to venture into new areas.

A Wall Street Journal report says that they perhaps might launch a touchscreen notebook, which would feature their second generation TouchSmart interface. They are also planning on developing a 10″ laptop, which has been tried by almost all the laptop companies. What is most surprising is the touscreen phone that HP is apparently working on.

Here is a weird looking phone which makes me wonder what the developers were thinking when they created it. The Motorola ZN4 will soon be released on Verizon on October 14 and the product lineup has been leaked internally. The flip phone does not really appeal to me but however, looks pretty ok.

It is supposed to be transparent and interactive which is not how one must describe a flip. The Krave will surely make people think twice and even gasp in disbelief, for no one seems to be able to understand what the idea behind this product is.

However, this assistance is related to answering questions about Vertu. The patented keypads and solid ruby bearings make the cellphone ultra luxurious.

There have been a number of concept phones, which have been covered on this blog, but there couldn’t be anything like the one that we are going to reveal just now. The KDDI scientists have developed a concept phone that could see through the walls and in fact see through opaque surfaces.

The prototype was created using geomagnetic sensors, accelerometers, GPS etc. The device is equipped with high technology, which enables it to determine its own position and also render its surroundings on screen in OpenGL, which consists areas that are not visible. However this phone is still in a theory stage and has not been manufactured yet, even conceptually.
