With all the Sony Bravias being released, markets have been extra confident about their success and why not too. The Bravia brand must be one of the best looking and performing TVs to be ever released. The Sony Bravia ZX1 is 9.9mm thin and unbelievably thin. It is shocking to learn that it is 40% more efficient for every panel inch when one compares to the conventional flat panels.

It even uses less power than a bulb, apparently. The 40″ screen makes the Sony Bravia ZX1 a joy but the high price of $6,055 isn’t a thing of joy. The TV however looks good and makes up for the loss of being highly unaffordable.

Nevertheless, energy conscious consumers may think twice and purchase the new 40” Bracia model, in case they would like to save more power than money.

The monitor also features a USB hub, built-in Ethernet, WSXGA+ and also great eco-conscious technology.

The on-screen meter and three levels of power usage makes sure you are not using up a lot of power or energy. It uses as little as 36% less power than a traditional LCD and of course, the video or image quality is just awesome.

However, you may need to wait till the gadget arrives in the west, as it is now available only in Japan. There is no word about the price or the release date either but you can be sure that it is going to hit the stores near you sometime very soon.

Though we can’t really trust the stuff that comes out of China, this does look good and interesting. More so because, it is priced $102, which is dirt-cheap. This can also serve as a great media player, which not only offers music, or video options but also radio options.

In my opinion, one just needs to assess the products before buying them, and in V3000’s case, assessments have already been done and it looks like it is a safe and efficient product to buy. So if you are planning to buy a PMP, don’t think twice, but just get yourself an Ainol V3000.

Dreams are what inventions and concepts are all about. If you had dreamed ever if a TV, a telephone and a media server could interact with each other, Toshiba seems to have the answer. However, it still is in a concept stage and will take a while for it to materialize.

In this new system, a media server will automatically download media files from the cellphone just when the user drops near the field communication or NFC. Later, the media files can be projected on a wireless HD 1080p TV. However, this being a concept, I won’t be able to swear by it. I could only swear that Toshiba always manages to pull it off, whatever the concept is, and most of its products are great success.

It would be interesting to see a product that lets all these three gadgets interact with one another and finally have a synthesized result.

Teraokaseiko Co Ltd has unveiled a two-way touch panel display, which you can operate by touching either side of the display. It has been constructed by attaching a resistive touch panel to the both sides of a transparent inorganic EL panel which has also bee developed by Teraokaseiko Co Ltd. The device can be used while mapping software is used as the person’s hand won’t obstruct the image on one side of the screen, he/she can touch the panel from the back and the audience is given an unhindered view.

It can also recognize different actions such as pinching, tapping and sliding. It has a pixel count of 256 x 120 and the device is an orange monochrome display. This cool new device may help in conferences and seminars. A very handy gadget, and we would definitely wait for it to arrive in the stores. Most corporate and other companies might be interested in this product as it can be used during business meetings and such other interactions where a screen is required.

Be it the world’s thinnest LCD or the Swarovski encrusted Oewe TV…the list is good enough to make anyone drool over the lavishness. Another luxurious wonder in line with these opulent Plasmas and LCDs is this creation from Keymats. Christened as ‘YALOS’ this diamond studded LCD TV is another beauty unveiled at IFA 2008.

With technological features good enough to make you a YALOS fan, the striking beauty and the richness exuberated by the a white gold plating and no less than 160 diamonds making it to a minimum of 20 carats…makes YALOS a definite luxury gadget of the day.

Not only does it shouts luxury from the face, but turn it around and you’ll witness an equally beautiful rear adorned by beautiful silver flowery pattern on a grey background. It comes along with a shining blue remote, beauty of which is accentuated by a diamonte student at the bottom. Though there’s no information about pricing, but it’s definitely going to be real expensive.

Whilst last year, we witnessed Samsung reigning the geeks’ minds by creating a buzz through its offering of 40”-inch screen 1 cm thick LCD with little awareness that come 2008 and they may have to face competition with Sony. Lately, Sony has made up to headlines as it has bagged the crown for developing worlds first-ever thinnest LCD HDTV. Measuring mere 9.9mm thick, the KDL-40ZX1 almost bisects the depth of Hitachi’s previous victor (suggestible to be installed in bathroom now) and hits the market with a whisper of Pioneer’s mega thin conception.

The model sports a LED back lighting, 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz MotionFlow tech, x.v.color and BRAVIA Engine 2 image processing. Clarity about the available facts detail only one HDMI plugging onto the screen itself whereas other needless HDMI/USB/ constituent inputs are consigned to a base station, with the choice for wired or perhaps WHDI based? Japanese will be allowed to emboss the ZX1 on their walls if they are ready to shell out $4,474 on 10 November (expected date fopr its market availability).

Pool party on your mind? How about jazzing it up with an open air movie experience? Check out the Cinebox System from Open Air Cinema and you’ll know what we are talking about.

With this wonderful inflatable home theatre system, watching a movie will be an all together funky experience out in the open. The 9 or 10 foot screen humungous screen takes a few minutes to stand tall and function well with the awesome projector, DVD player and powered speakers that come along with it.

How would you inflate it? Don’t worr they even give you a pump along. Thinking about the price? Lets spill the beans, the fun-filled inflatable outdoor home theatre will cost you a crisp $ 1500. Now if you are thinking it’s too much…just think how much will a vacation cost you? I’m sure it will be much more affordable and entertaining than an expensive vacation.

What more? You don’t wanna buy the theatre forever and just a party or two is on mind, then they also have the rental facility…so what are you waiting for?
