So what if we can’t seem to be able to contact extra terrestrials or aliens? They very well could do so, thanks to a specially prepared slab of rock, which was launched into space by the University of Aberdeen with the help of a Russian spacecraft. This was part of an exercise conducted by the European Space Agency Mission.
The Orkney rock holds evidence to the fact of life on earth thanks to the biological deposits on it. Even though it experiences extreme temperatures while going and coming back to the earth’s atmosphere, the rock can hide chemical information which hold clues to life and biology. Called the Orkney rock, it was part of the unmanned Foton M3 mission.

Here is something that would appeal to any of the mischief-makers amongst us. in fact, a little sadism is what is required to use this gadget. The Metal Rubber Band Gun is a unique gadget that brings back the days of childhood when we used to use the rubber band to shoot sharp and hard objects at bullies or the ones that got bullied.
The gadget has a stainless steel projectile and is a shooter which can shoot up to 12 rubber bands at once and also comes equipped with an infrared sight and light sight which only helps you shoot better and have some fun. Raytheon is one of the most famous companies that have been conducting research on exoskeletons. In fact, they are the leaders of the exoskeleton industry. Their latest contribution to this realm is a biologically inspired aquatic exoskeleton. These robotic suits enhance the user’s strength and allow him or her to mimic the movements of penguins and dolphins.
If you remember a certain episode where Tom swam in the water like various aquatic animals, you can do just that, but there wouldn’t be a mer-Jerry to eat. These exoskeletons will allow swimmers to achieve speeds of 1m/s and also a top speed of 1.5m/s. It emulates two types of biological propulsion, which are the body and/or caudal fin locomotion and median and/or fin locomotion.

There something always has been alluring about the lasers, perhaps it’s the idea of a futuristic society and a futuristic way of perpetuating violence, that makes us fall in love with lasers. However, this time it is a laser flashlight brought to you by Wicked Lasers, which can even burn paper easily.
It has about 4100 lumens and can start fires and burn your skin to ashes. It is as good as carrying your own floodlight and is touted to be the most powerful torchlight in the whole wide world. These kinds of gadgets remind me of Star wars and the laser sword, which could kill any of your enemies within an instant. However, what baffles me is the idea that torchlight could be used to start fires and could potentially be a great danger if the gadget gets into wrong hands.

The Department of Homeland Security have developed a new anxiety-detection technology designed to detect unusually high biological fluctuations in humans at airport checkpoints like changes in breathing patterns, increased heart rate, etc. Our inability to know when someone is deceiving us has enormous consequences in the fight against terrorism. These bio scans may help authorities to spot dangerous people.
This may remind one of the redundant and annoying saying “prevention is better than cure”. You might have a doubt nagging at the back of your mind that a person might shows signs of anxiety the moment he walks through a checkpoint like quickened heart rate and heavier breathing, and fluctuations in body temperature.

If you thought the U.S. military is working round the clock to get the scientists to invent new devices to assist in the warfare, you couldn’t possibly be wrong. The latest in the line of development is a helmet that may help in virtual telepathy. Though a scary thought, the U.S. defense is hell bent upon reading the thoughts of its soldiers.
However, the helmet will be ready only after many decades. Hence, the soldiers need not worry for the moment. And moreover, the idea is to enable the soldiers to communicate silently. But of course, we all know that things are not so simple and it could be used for dubious purposes.
