And we knew very well that this would happen. As I said a few days, the tablet comes with 2009-and people net books Asus was the first company to present them at CES. The computer you see in the picture is the Eee PC T91 of 2.54cm wide, weighs 0.90kg, has a 8.9 inch touch screen with LED backlight, an Intel Atom Z520 CPU, comes with Windows XP Home, TV tuner and GPS. Quite to the full range of our little friends.

Vale ultraportable that has a battery a little short, perhaps too much for the “little thing” that is, but do you reach these ends of gigantism? This is a battery for the Asus Eee 901 to 10 cells! Or what is the same, 13000mAh. The size is extremely large, but to have so much capacity reaches 10 or 14 hours of battery life.

Asus EEE PC might find a competitor in BenQ’s Joybook Lite U101 notebook, which was released in Taiwan recently. The notebook is only 10.1″ and has an aspect ratio screen of 16:9. It is also equipped with LED backlight unit and has a response time of 8ms.
The notebook runs on Intel Atom CPU and has 1.6GHz. Buyers can choose between 120GB or 160gb hard drives. One could also choose between 4GB or 16GB solid hard drives and it runs on both Linux and Windows XP. It has a built-in memory of 512MB and can be upgraded to 1GB. It is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled and the keyboard is almost the size of a normal computer.

Here is a concept that would appeal to any gizmo freak. If you thought the Asus EEE PC was the biggest and hottest thing right now, you may be in for a shock. Yves Behar has designed a concept for a ‘brick’ design. What is being touted as the hybrid iPhone-meets-Macbook-Air gets rid of keyboards and uses an adaptive multitouch screen depending on how it is laid out.
Though tactile feedback is not available, corrective software will make errors less frequent. When opened it will work as a laptop and other modes include eBook, Desktop, and tablet mode.

Dell is going to launch a new laptop called the Inspiron Mini 9 with excellent features. You could lay your hands on the Inspiron Mini 9 for a mere price of $99 with the purchase of a Studio 15, XPS M1530 or XPS M1330 laptop but the offer might be over now. This was a cool deal considering that Dell’s Studio 15 laptops starts at $649 featuring an Intel’s Pentium Dual Core, Windows Vista, 160GB hard drive, 1GB memory as well as colors of versatility.
