Ok here we go. I am fascinated by death and the decay it brings upon us. When the flesh disintegrates and all that is left is a pile of bones, the skull is the real striking image that leaves us with a queasy horror. However, as I said earlier, I’m fascinated by death and if any product has got something to do with death, I would definitely find it uber-cool.
Wayne Martin Bleger has created a pinhole camera called the Third Eye eerily, for it uses a skull as the body of the pinhole camera. The film can be exposed to light through the titular ocular cavity and the resulting picture is a blurred and creepy image just as a dead person or a dying person would see.

Californian scientists are on a mission to count the Giant Kangaroo Rats, which are still living in the Californian desert by the means of using images from an Israeli defense satellite. It’s just not about tracking your spouse, girl friend but also rediscovering one of Asia’s “lost” species, which must be many a scientist’s dreams.
They are on a quest to track down some of exciting and enigmatic Kangaroo Rat’s habitat lost to farming in the San Joaquin Valley where the place is no more a desert but a broken patchworks of farms. The extinction of these rats will cause imbalance in the ecosystem. Repercussions of species loss on ecosystem processes depend on the effects of the lost species.

Yahoo seems to be spreading its wings and travelling to new frontiers. It has recently launched a bunch of bicycles equipped with cameras that would automatically shoot pictures of the different locations the user is at. The project is in collaboration with Flickr and the pictures shot are immediately uploaded to the website and can be viewed by others. The GPS-enabled bikes are currently running through San Francisco and New York and will soon take over Singapore, Denmark and U.K.
The eco-friendly bike includes solar panels to power the camera which takes snapshots every minute, albeit only when the bike is in motion so that you don’t get pictures of the same location. The camera which does all the work is actually a Nokia N95 with a custom Python script. Users with Symbian series 60 can join the game by downloading Yahoo’s ZoneTag software and attaching them to the bike.

If we are lucky enough, smart and sporty phone MOTOACTV W450 may just be on its way very soon to T-Mobile. Earlier the Motorola phones in the W-series came with features that told a million tales. Seems like this cool model is a T-mobile exclusive. The MOTOACTV W450 is designed innovatively with 1.3-mega-pixel camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth and media support. You will be thrilled to know the special feature of this mobile is its water resistance.
The phone may lack a number of features but it packs in more features than any, for a low-end basic model as this. The onslaught of high-end and fashionable phones has left basic range models with no place in the shelf. If the low-end models have to survive, they would have to pack in more features at a lesser price. Moreover, lately people have been spending more money than usual on cellphones. The MOTOACTV W450 would cost between $30 and $50 and is worth every buck you pay.

All that we could make out from many pictures and very little information available about the Ying Yang digital camera on designer’s website is that it’s a unique and curiosity builder camera.
More than user the camera designed by Kubasek Krzysztof will be a treat to watch for the people getting clicked it seems! The two halves combine to make this camera, with one featuring the lens and the LCD screen, while the other half containing the flash memory and the USB port. So all you need to load the pics into the memory drive or download them into your PC is join the two halves and there you go without any extra wires and cables. Quite smart!
The click button lies in front, which seems quite impractical but despite all those little things that we couldn’t understand the fact that the Ying Yang digi cam is an intelligent combination of functionality and design is crystal clear. And we are simply waiting for this concept to get real!
