Pentax Optio E70 and P70 Optio P70 is a 12 megapixel camera, with a 4x optical zoom equivalent to a 27.5-110mm, a 2.7-inch screen and a maximum sensitivity of ISO 6400. Very simple and metallic body, the price is not bad, $ 199.95 (147 €). The Optio E70 is much easier if possible, with a 10 megapixel sensor, optical zoom and increases of only 3 to 2.4 inch screen. Res very low price, $ 139.95 (103 €).

The Canon 5D Mark II was a reflex long awaited by many and of which we have dealt extensively and finally came the first review by PhotographyBlog few days ago that he had already published the first pictures taken with this camera. This reflex is a full frame that resembles in many respects to the old Canon 5D, but which has a 21 megapixel sensor and an expanded range iso which now ranges from 50 to 25,600.

Pentax’s K-m (or K2000, as it were) may be geared towards beginners, but that’s not to say it’s lacking in the performance department. The DSLR was recently apprehended and tested at PhotographyBLOG, and apparently they had a really tough time finding anything negative to say. In fact, it was deemed “another excellent addition to Pentax’s DSLR range, seamlessly slotting in below the K200D.” With the combination of ease-of-use, mid-range features and a low price, critics found themselves in awe of the value proposition.

Leica are offering a massive $1500 rebate on the M8 digital camera. Valid in the US and Canada until January 1st 2009, Leica are also offering $300 off a new M-Lens (excluding the 50mm/f0.95, 21mm/f1.4, 24mm/f1.4 and 24mm/f3.8). The rebates will be processed 6 to 8 weeks after the product has been registered.

PhotographyBlog has just published the first photos and first video using one of the first examples of Canon 5D mark II of production. There are 30 files jpeg, 6 raw and 2 video download, awaiting the first reviews. All the pictures were taken using the best quality and settings using the basic goals as the Canon EF 24-105mm f / 4 and Canon EF 70-200mm f / 4.

Images from the Nikon Pro magazine you can read the characteristics of Nikon d3x forthcoming. For a start the mega pixel war is not over yet and Nikon has also sonatas a reflex from 24 mega pixels, a sign that perhaps some professionals who require it and upon their request. It will be interesting then examine the results with the D3 and the camera of competition. Nikon in the last year has made big steps forward, announcing a 4-camera by the excellent quality as the D300 and D3 a year ago, then the D700 and finally the d3x.

Don’t you think this is a great way to explore stop-motion animation than by creating a video clip on your own which can be really taxing and wasting your precious time and energy? It can be noted that once upon a time, there was an era when cartoons were cool and were only present on network television. There was no demand for cable to enjoy the great animation. And now this technique has tried to bring back the missing era back to us.

LG has just announced the KC780 8 megapixel cameraphone, which may give stiff competition to Samsung’s new 8 megapixel cameraphone. Though the specs are not available yet for these phones, it is pretty evident that these are going to be high-end models with the latest technology.
It also is being claimed as the thinnest 8-megapixel cameras till date and apparently it will even beat Samsung’s M8800 Pixon. The phone may offer quad-band GSM support and also limited touch screen facilities. We can also expect cool features such as 30fps video recording and of course a very sleek and elegant design.
