Archos has officially unveiled the new Archons 5 Internet Tablet, the MID running Android and 4.8-inch touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The device measures 143.2 x 78.8 x 10.4 mm and weighs 182 g, while the version with 160 GB HDD has a thickness of 20 mm and weighs. The hardware uses an OMAP3440 processor at 800 MHz with GPS receiver, transmitter and receiver FM RDS, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi 802.11 b USB port, microSD card slot and proprietary connector on the docking station with DVR functionality. In addition to classic features of Media Player, the web browser and the browser 3D satellite maps, the tablet has many applications preinstalled, such as the client for Twitter or office document viewer.

Already on sale in the Archos online store starting at € 299.99 for the 32 GB version.

The 16 GB version is currently present only in the American piece of the store at $ 299.99, € 239 using the same gearbox best gadgets while the 8 GB version is currently not on sale, should have a price of $ 249.99, about € 199.
