Captain obvious: PC sales slow, notebooks soar (survey)

Another great moment of the analysts own the Captain’s obvious, IDG publishes the sales growth of the PC (Desktops, desktop) will be very slow, however, growth in sales of notebooks will be astronomical. The odd thing is that IDC said that this “change” from the PC desktop to laptop is “by the changes in the global economy,” something that really does not make much sense since there are desktop PC for about 300 euros, while The laptop does not drop half of the 600 to 800 euros.
Anyway, it is expected that the market for portable increased to 13.8%, which translated into something we all understand, are 145.9 million laptops. Obviously something that is helping a lot of laptops are low-cost, ultra portable.
