Remember the experiment you did to show what a volcano looks like and how it erupts? It must have been a messy heel on the table when you did it in school. Well, here is a better and more scientific alternative that even drives away boredom from your office desk.
The USB Volcano is a unique and fun device that lets you have your own volcano on the desk. It has a high intensity LED light and lava beads, which create an instant volcano erupting scene. LG has just announced the KC780 8 megapixel cameraphone, which may give stiff competition to Samsung’s new 8 megapixel cameraphone. Though the specs are not available yet for these phones, it is pretty evident that these are going to be high-end models with the latest technology.
It also is being claimed as the thinnest 8-megapixel cameras till date and apparently it will even beat Samsung’s M8800 Pixon. The phone may offer quad-band GSM support and also limited touch screen facilities. We can also expect cool features such as 30fps video recording and of course a very sleek and elegant design.

Dreams are what inventions and concepts are all about. If you had dreamed ever if a TV, a telephone and a media server could interact with each other, Toshiba seems to have the answer. However, it still is in a concept stage and will take a while for it to materialize.
In this new system, a media server will automatically download media files from the cellphone just when the user drops near the field communication or NFC. Later, the media files can be projected on a wireless HD 1080p TV. However, this being a concept, I won’t be able to swear by it. I could only swear that Toshiba always manages to pull it off, whatever the concept is, and most of its products are great success.
It would be interesting to see a product that lets all these three gadgets interact with one another and finally have a synthesized result.

Here is a concept that would appeal to any gizmo freak. If you thought the Asus EEE PC was the biggest and hottest thing right now, you may be in for a shock. Yves Behar has designed a concept for a ‘brick’ design. What is being touted as the hybrid iPhone-meets-Macbook-Air gets rid of keyboards and uses an adaptive multitouch screen depending on how it is laid out.
Though tactile feedback is not available, corrective software will make errors less frequent. When opened it will work as a laptop and other modes include eBook, Desktop, and tablet mode.
