The New PRS-700 Sony Reader Looks Promising

We have been hearing about a number of eBooks and book readers. However, the ones that I have liked have always lacked some feature or the other. This most basic feature, which according to me has to be provided with a book reader, is the touchscreen facility.

The new PRS-700 Sony Reader features a 6-inch touchscreen. This stylish and sleek model also features a redesigned case and a built-in frontlight. This would be available later this month and is going to set you about $400 poorer. Text can be entered with a stylus on a full screen QWERTY keyboard and you can add notes, annotations and you can flip through pages using a stylus or a finger swipe.

This has to be one of the coolest readers ever launched. And yes, this doesn’t replace the previous models but only complements them.
