Nintendo Unveils DS’s Next Generation Version

Gaming fans that frequent this blog would be glad to know that Nintendo Co Ltd has launched the DSi what it calls the next-generation version of the Nintendo DS portable game console. The new console features a built-in camera; a music player, 3.25-inch LCD panel, and much software will also be released to utilize the camera and music player functions in the console.

The console has a pixel count of about 300,000 and the DSi is preinstalled with software that can color in and process pictures taken by the camera with a touch pen. The DSi will be launched on November 1 and will cost $180. However initially it is available only in Japan.

Gamers will have enough reason to rejoice especially if they are into Nintendo DS. I am wondering if we are going to see any new games along with it.
