Google Unveils Blog Search Tool

If you had been wondering how you could make sense of the ocean that makes up the blogosphere, help is near. Google has unveiled the Google Blog Search tool, which competes with Techmeme, Polymeme, Wikio and other “memetrackers” that sort and organize blog posts into categories.

There is going to be a new homepage for the Google Blog search and they have used their Google News website to separate blog postings into clusters based on topics, stories or events. In a cluster one would find the most interesting and recent posts and also a timeline graph, which shows how the story is gaining momentum in the blogosphere. Looks like us bloggers will have an easier time ahead.

It is because of such innovations that Google has grown to be the monstrous company that it is today, and I’m sure they will come up with many new innovative technologies and services in the future.
