Amateur photographers always complain that they are not deemed experts only because they don’t have the best camera. Even if you do not have any dreams about making it big in photography, this news would definitely pique your interest. One of the leading companies when it comes to manufacturing cameras, Nikon releases their latest, the Nikon D90.

This high quality photo camera is the world’s first DSLR camera and is intended as an upgraded version of the Nikon D80 and is inspired by the Nikon D300. Some of the features of the Nikon D90 include DX-format CMOS sensor, Nikon EXPEED image processing technology and the NIKKOR optics for high-fidelity pictures. With video recording facility, the D90 can hit 720p high definition in the motion JPEG format via the NIKKOR interchangeable lens.

Working like a camcorder, the D90 offers fish-eye, wide-angle and super-telephoto modes and also has Nikon Scene Recognition System. It has an Image Sensor Cleaning system to cleanse the lens. The D90 includes a rechargeable Li-ion battery and can take up to 850 pics on a single charge. The Nikon D90 is available at $999.
