Sapphire Crystal Bodied Bracelet by Seiko Shows E-Time
Posted in Bling Gadgets, Gadgets for her, Watch on 24 August 2008

Seiko Watch Company has been making watches for eons, but this must be its coolest make yet. Quite similar in concept to the Bracelet Media Player, the new Seiko watch has already been deemed the most beautiful watch for women, and you couldn’t agree. After the release of the male watch, this Seiko watch made for the fairer sex is modeled after its predecessor. Made from thin flexible e-paper, the watch makes use of Electronic Ink to display the time.

Fashioned like a bracelet, the watch comes in silver metallic colours that add zing to its couture status. The continuous sapphire crystal body displays the time in two modes: efficient mode that displays the numbers in simple font and mystery mode that displays the numbers in a curvier more appreciative font style. The watch uses a new high contrast ink for display and does not need much power, meaning the battery will last long. Unfortunately, the watch comes at a high price, $2000 to be exact. But which lady could say no to this beautiful piece?

Bracelet Media Player: Watch Movies on Your Bracelet!
Posted in Bling Gadgets, Gadgets for her, Wearable Technology on 24 August 2008

The Harry Potter movies that audaciously show-off posters and newspapers with moving pictures have increased the desire in the tech world to create thinner and even thinner displays. This desire, coupled with the need to appear fashionable, may have lent to the creation of this next gadget-cum-jewelry piece. The Bracelet media player by Chocolate Agency will make your eyes pop out. This bracelet is completely made of e-paper which can displays media clips.

The e-paper which is thin and flexible enough to roll into the shape of a bracelet, can be worn around the wrist and need only be unrolled to view movies et al. The concept of a bracelet means you have a cool looking jewelry piece that allows you to carry, on your wrist, a whole movie theatre. The Bracelet media player is also quite eco-friendly since it is powered from the kinetic energy created by the person wearing it. No clues on the price yet, but I am not sure men would racing to get this gadget.

Electronic Car Keys Finder
Posted in Gadget on 23 August 2008

Can you remember a time when you were oh-so-late for office or classes and searching everywhere for your lost keys? You don’t have faithful Milo to search under the couch or your pillow or the cupboard so you end up screaming at the top of your voice for everyone in hearing range, including the neighbours, pulling out your well-styled hair and finally deciding to take the bus. Sounds like a well-practised scenario? You know, all you really need is an electronic car keys finder.

The electronic car keys finder has a tracking device that helps you search for lost items such as your keys or cell phones. This gadget finder will remind you that your keys are not on your person and will emit an audio signal from quite far away, allowing you to search for the lost item. Four different colour-coded tags or metal tips that come with the gadget can be attached to the item that you are most liable to lose, and which can then be retrieved with just a beep. The gadget is also small enough to be placed in your purse or wallet. Guys, don’t try gifting this to your girlfriends as ear rings. It won’t work.
