Philips brings us a new home theatre system that may have the ‘tech unsavvy’ crowd wondering what wire to connect where. The Philips Cinema One is small round shaped home theatre system is barely has a width of 11” and a height of 7”.

The Philips Cinema One can fit an iPod dock, a five-channel amp, and has six speakers and a subwoofer built into its base. The DVD player can support DivX, MPEG4 and WMV format, and upscales to 1080p over HDMI. The CD player can read MP3 format and also has a USB-in. The five-channel amplifies and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) unit can process Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG2 multichannel or stereo sound tracks with amazing sound quality. It also offers high quality display of jpeg photos with a variety of viewing choices. Phew. The only information still unavailable about this awesome product is the launch date and the price.
