These iPods have the coolest design and I hope for the sake of Kevin Rose and all iPod lovers that the news he gives us this time is true. Kevin Rose may have delivered us incorrect information about the release of new iPods but he is bent on redeeming himself. This time, he informs us of the news that a refreshed iPod nano will soon be available in a slimmer, tapered version, much like a long tube. Rose gives pictures of the case designs of the supposed new 4th gen nano iPod.

The cases for the iPods are rumoured to be designed by Chinese accessory-maker Beelan. It seems Beelan is ready to drop off a shipment of cases to an as yet unknown destination. Another case design is being showed off by iDealsChina and some unknown Canadian company. These rumours clash with the voice of Rose declaring them to be facts. However, doubt is already being cast upon the fidelity of these rumours as many iPod fans believe that Apple would not include a mini-USB port in the render when they prefer dock connectors.
