YouDoo Dog: Create Your Own Pet

The really batty lonely people will have a field day with this one. Come to think of it, even those who are interested in trying their hands on every Do It Yourself product just might enjoy this. The YouDoo Doll company brings us the YouDoo Dog, your very own soft toy dog created by you. The YouDoo dog is packed with a blank face so that you may choose what it will look like. Extremely easy to make, the new owner merely has to iron a picture of the desired face onto the dog’s blank face.
The YouDoo dog also comes with a blank t-shirt that can be personalized, in the same manner as the face, to show the demeanor and temperament of your pet dog. The company website offers many choices in this regard. Other inclusions on the dog kit are a collar and iron-on transfer sheet and, let’s not forget the much needed, a kennel for your new pet. You can choose any face for your dog; I have the picture of an old algebra teacher who would look perfect as my dog! Cat lovers, do not fret, because the next DIY pet by the company is a cat. The kit is priced at $20 and may seem a gift for pre-pubescents but is surprisingly quite popular with adults, too.
On a serious note, $2 from each purchase of a YouDoo dog product goes to goes to the ‘Dog’s Trust’, UK’s largest dog welfare charity caring for abandoned and stray dogs.
