Samsung E200 Eco: Eco-Friendly Phone

If you rant and rave to people about saving energy and the environment, then perhaps it is time that you rethink the phone you are holding in your hand. Mobile phones are going green too, and we are not just talking about the colour this time. The Samsung E200 Eco is designed for the most eco-friendly people on earth who recite ‘reduce-reuse-recycle’ even in their sleep. The casing of the Samsung phone is made completely from corn-based bioplastics.

The E200 Eco appears quite simplistic and will appeal to your back-to-earth nature. Shiny black with the green side-casing, the features of the Samsung E200 Eco are not as simple. It includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, SMS and video messaging and an MP3 player so you can listen to songs like ‘Heal the World’ when people start to frustrate you. One special feature is that the phone beeps as a reminder to unplug the battery when the phone is fully charged, helping you save even more power. A word of advice, don’t try to eat the casing when you’re hungry.
