Qosmio G55 gesture control laptop

A move over the voice command recognizing laptops, will be Toshiba’s next addition in the laptop segment called the Qosmio G55. 55 which is all set for its launch next month touts of q unique camera-based visual gesture control system that allows you to use your hands to communicate whatever and any number of functions to the laptop.

With the first ever used Quad Core HD processor backing it, the G55 is the first notebook that lets users control music and video playback and also PowerPoint, using just their hands, yes, there’s no remote or keyboard required. The webcam senses your movement from 3 to 10 feet away and the Quad Core HD processor interprets your hand motions in real time.That means now you can even go mime with your laptop…sounds… err…looks interesting!
Apart from the visual gesture system, which happens to be the USP of G55, it is also loaded wth other features including an 18.4-inch screen, Centrino 2 CPU, GeForce 9600M GT, 4GB of RAM, dual drives, and the “Quad Core HD processor” that backs the wide range of media functions offered by Qosmio G55.
When it comes to looks. Qosmio is good enough to give many a notebooks a run for their money with a combination of a slick black chassis, LED illumination, and metal highlights on offer.
