The latest pricey addition into the Russian brand Gresso’s ultra lavish brigade of cell phones is the White Diamonds collection. With two new phones called the Gresso White Diamonds and Gresso Royal White Diamonds, the cell phone brand has touch newer levels of lavishness in the cell phone market.

The phones are not so great at technology with features like a tri-band GSM support, a 65K color TFT display QVGA resolution, a microSD memory card slot and a 2 megapixel camera and run on Windows Mobile 6 Standard. But when it comes to design it is simple bathed in utmost luxury that comes to fore with the hand-assembled body panels made out of 200-year old African blackwood, keyboards which have a base plate made of titanium and stainless steel battery cover with a magnetic lock plus leather high-lighted with gold decoration.
That’s not where the luxe story of the phone end. The display of the phone is caked with 42K sapphire crystal glass, while the keys are made out of 18K gold and last but not the least, the laser cut numbers in Roman style work as cherry on the cake.

No wonders this one will be a limited edition with only 200 units hitting the market.
If that’s a little too much, then the Gresso White Diamond handset seems to be a reasonable deal at $14,000 at least in comparison with the other. features only navigation keys encrusted with white diamonds. And, it will sell for 9,000 euros i.e. approx. $14,000.
