Now that’s what I call really cheap. A cell phone for just $10! I doubt if even a pack of cigarettes come for that price. No, it’s not a kid phone, nor it is just an emergency calling phone, but a full fledged phone with decent features making it good enough to be called a cell phone.
Actually these $ 10 phones are being sold as ‘disposable cell phones’ by UK’s supermarket chain Asda. These are made specially to be disposed off and operate on standard pay-as-you-go tariffs. You can just grab one off the shelf, use it once and throw it away if you wanted. There are no hidden or extra costs. The models available are Nokia 1112 (pictured right) Sagem My212x, Sagem My220x and Sagem My150x.
Good for people who need a cell phone temporarily for any reason ranging from regular phone being lost or that they are in a country of some time.

This is one wireless technology that I’m actually faling in love with. Thanks to Sharp, and the new device that they have created, there will be a little less web of wires behind your high-end TVs, particularly Sharp’s recently launched ultra slim X-series LCD displays.
They call this wireless technology as WHDI (Wireless High Definition Interface). This allows HDMI signals to be transmitted in full 1080p, without loosing upon quality. All of your TV inputs and bulky tunings will get routed to your TV via the tiny set top box you see on top.
The box is supposed to be placed 100 feet away and can work across 4-5 walls, allowing you to keep all of your home theater equipments lie at a safe place out of the way.
The technology seems smart and nothing smart comes without a price and the WHDi is no exception. This device is priced at $800. I don’t think, it’s much of a price to give an extra kick of style to your already stylish HDTV from Sharp.

I’m sure that your head will move in a positive nod if I say that there are times you’re your job demands you to wear those to stand tall and smart in those chic high heels but at the end of the day you wish to come down to earth in a footwear that’s comfortable enough.
Incase this is a concern for you too, then here is a pair of shoes from the house of Camileon Heels that come with the concept of adjustable heels.

Yes, you guess it right, these heels give you the convenience of adjusting them anywhere between 1 1/2 to 3 1/4. The shoes will be available in a number of styles all featuring this heel that makes you comfy enough of a day’s work and sensuous enough for a party.
When you don’t want a heel all you need to do is push back the heel and it gets hidden inside.
After having a look at these adjustable heels and the lighted pioneer shoes, it seems the shoe designers are finally thinking beyond looks and designs and moving on to comfort based fashion.

Hi-tech clothing and wearable technology is becoming a rage these days, and this cool shirt is no exception to this fad after the hug shirt.
Air conditioners fail and air seems like burning when the sun works on your car to hot it up. But if you have this all new Cooling Shirt, you will have a little less to worry.
A perfect accessory for the professional drivers who most of the time are driving on the roads or rather the racing drivers who burn themselves inside those racing cars. The cooling shirt circulates icy chilled water all across your body via a portable refrigeration unit that’s as small as a medium picnic cooler. The pipes run all across your body and keep you cool without making you wet.
And if you want more, in some versions of the Cool Shirt the water can also be transferred to the helmet to keep the head cool as well.

Don’t know if this spoon scale will ever be of some use to me. But, I’m sure it will definitely come handy to those health conscious souls who don’t mind weighing every spoon full of food that eat with the sole aim to keep a track of calories they consume.
As the name suggests, the spoon houses a built-in scale that’s good enough to measure down to the very last 1⁄10 gram. It features a tiny LCD display to flash the exact weight, which can be converted from grams to ounces.
Made in black ABS plastic, with a stainless steel handle, the spoon will also be good for cooks and housewives who just don’t like making any mistakes with their measurements and want the food to be finger-licking always!

If you found that visual alarm clock a bit too simple for your creative self, then I’m sure this unique washing machine shaped alarm clock is will catch your fancy for sure.
Taking power from your Computer’s USB port this alarm clock doesn’t makes noise but uses vibrations together with sweet melodies instead to wake you up.
Or should we say it tries waking you up with those vibrations, just as a washing machine produces. I guess this washing machine is good enough only to wake you up when you doze off on your desk, coz a night sleep is too much for the little vibrations of this cute washing machine to handle.

I guess only iPod was the only device left on the gadget shelf that was alien to the concept of internet connectivity till date.
But with the coming in of the new wireless router from I-O Data for Mac & Windows, even this will be possible now.
The WN-G54/R4-M allows you to connect not just your iPod Touch but also your iPhone to the internet by installing software on your computer.
Now, just push the button and there you have a convenient and uninterrupted access to Internet even in your iPod!
Though there’s no information about the pricing and availability, but I’m sure that the moment it hits the market, no doubt it will be a big hit!
