Now that’s what I call really cheap. A cell phone for just $10! I doubt if even a pack of cigarettes come for that price. No, it’s not a kid phone, nor it is just an emergency calling phone, but a full fledged phone with decent features making it good enough to be called a cell phone.

Actually these $ 10 phones are being sold as ‘disposable cell phones’ by UK’s supermarket chain Asda. These are made specially to be disposed off and operate on standard pay-as-you-go tariffs. You can just grab one off the shelf, use it once and throw it away if you wanted. There are no hidden or extra costs. The models available are Nokia 1112 (pictured right) Sagem My212x, Sagem My220x and Sagem My150x.

Good for people who need a cell phone temporarily for any reason ranging from regular phone being lost or that they are in a country of some time.

This is one wireless technology that I’m actually faling in love with. Thanks to Sharp, and the new device that they have created, there will be a little less web of wires behind your high-end TVs, particularly Sharp’s recently launched ultra slim X-series LCD displays.

They call this wireless technology as WHDI (Wireless High Definition Interface). This allows HDMI signals to be transmitted in full 1080p, without loosing upon quality. All of your TV inputs and bulky tunings will get routed to your TV via the tiny set top box you see on top.

The box is supposed to be placed 100 feet away and can work across 4-5 walls, allowing you to keep all of your home theater equipments lie at a safe place out of the way.

The technology seems smart and nothing smart comes without a price and the WHDi is no exception. This device is priced at $800. I don’t think, it’s much of a price to give an extra kick of style to your already stylish HDTV from Sharp.

I’m sure that your head will move in a positive nod if I say that there are times you’re your job demands you to wear those to stand tall and smart in those chic high heels but at the end of the day you wish to come down to earth in a footwear that’s comfortable enough.
