A careless look at this pooch and not even in your weirdest of dreams you can imagine that it’s not a real soul but a robotic little puppy.A product from Segatoy, the Puppy Robo is quite real not just in its cute looks but also in all that it does.
The cute pooch is named Inud alias Dream DX robot dog and is quite active when it comes to responding back. The robot dog is a cool tech toy that gives a quick response the moment you touch it or address him as “good boy”. Call him and you’ll find the loyal chap following you thanks to the special movement trackers fitted inside him.
To make him all the more like a real dog the creators have designed him to act like normal dogs and do things that they do like moving its eyes, mouth and head, wagging its tail, and also a cute paw-shake…that’ll make you say ‘I want this pet!
With all the cute things of a pet minus the problematic hassles of pooping, annoying and unnecessary barking the robot pet Inud comes to you for $270…must say an intelligent deal it is!

Check this out. No it’s not a funky-chunky bracelet to adorn your wrist but one of its kind wrist watch from Shinshoku.
This designer wonder made in solid steel looks like a band that wraps comfortably around your wrist. As far as the guessing game of time is concerned, that’s also no less unique in Shinshoku’s.
The matrix of the punched out holes that you see on the face of the band are fitted with twenty-nine super-bright LEDs under the surface of the watch that glow to tell time.
Pressing the button at the top starts an animated movement of lights on the watch, while once you press the lower button the animation stops and time is displayed.
Twelve red LEDs indicate the hour; three green LEDs indicate 15, 30 and 45 minutes past the hour; and fourteen yellow LEDs indicate single minutes.
Joe says that the unique time telling method is easy but I think it’s quite of a thinking task…may b once you are used to the watch the visuals become easy for you.
One thing that’s actually helpful is that even during the wee hours getting the time won’t be tough now as it is with other watches.
Shinshoku is available in two models, black strap with multicolored LEDs and clear strap with multicolored LEDs.
The strap is self adjustable, so you don’t have to worry about the size, and there’s no info of pricing as yet.

At last I am writing about something that I can proudly call a gadget…I guess it’s worth the title of –‘Gadget of the Day’!
I am talking about these unique robotic hands called Tankpitstop, that are busy filling fuel in vehicles at the petrol pumps in Netherlands. Man, I wish even we had a few of these!
The Tankpitstop robotic arm is the brainchild of Dutch inventors, which uses a wide range of highly effective sensors together with a car database that guides the arm with the correct location of the car gas flap, open it, unscrew it and fill in the gas tank- all on it’s own sans any human aid. (Psst! Why I’m telling that, robots are supposed to work like that!)
Any guesses what inspired the designer to come up with a robotic solution Tankpitstop, to fill in the gas tank? It was from a robotic arm milking a cow! Great observing eye, Nici van Straveren, must say!
Currently installed only at Neatherlands, Staveren hopes to se his wonder arm installed at gas stations around Netherlands.
Till that, we hope, he’ll be able to hone Tankpitstop even for the cars that need a key for access the tank, which it is not adept at currently.
The cost that the inventors incurred to bring Tankpitstop into action is $1111000.

Please don’t kill me for what I’ve brought next is another household gadget. But it’s not simple anymore, rather a highly advanced version of your good old curtains, which had been living a life untouched by those techies till now.
But they are no more untouched today…finally they have made it to the technology world and it has transformed the old free-falling cloth curtain into a highly advanced magnetic curtain.
We are talking about the curtains designed by Florian Krautli’s that’s sure to leave the interior designer’s sighing!
The catch here is that the magnetic effect in the curtains allows the user to fold, crush, place, shape their curtains in whatever beautiful, whimsical, unique or bizarre shape they like.
In short, curtains will no longer have a great fall…but unique folds that the curtains and curtain users are accustomed to but will feature creases instead.
Must say curtains have finally moved out of the home into the techie-arena…lets wait and watch for the next new innovation they go through!!

Dunno why but it seems today it’s the day for some really simple but unique and cute gadgets that might not be highly techie but definitely add some difference to your lives.
What I’m here talking about is these cute Coasters that are fitted in with coloured LED lights.
Yes, you are thinking in the right direction. The coasters will emit a coloured light as you place your drink over it. Now if you place something like a coffee or tea or for that matter your milk shake, you are actually making a boo-boo out of the coasters. Better go for some cocktails and mocktails or for that matter plain water served in beautiful glasses and you can se what magic can the light do to your drink, making it light up in jazzy hues turning your table into a perfect party place!
The coasters are available in a pack of 4, each one of which has seven LEDs to illuminate your drink, ideal party booster!

I told you earlier as well that I’m in love with multipurpose gadgets. The purpose for picking this scented USB Aromatherapy Oil Burner was just that I thought it was one of those multipurpose gadgets but unfortunately it was not. Febreze is a USB drive look alike that works like a Aroma Therapy Oil Burner. Since I saw it for the first time so preferred telling all of you about it…just a piece of info… may be!
All you need to have the sweet smell of rose all around is put a few drops of the aroma oil that comes along into the USB and then insert it into your PC’s port.
Just as you do it, space around your workstation will start smelling of roses soothing your mind and take away all the depression I you are going through with any as rose oil is considered to have unique anti-depressant qualities.
This is not where the smell story of the USB Aromatherapy Oil Burner USB ends, the smell also have some aphrodisiac qualities to make a beautiful gift this valentine. (I’m afraid if your man will be able to concentrate on work when this USB drive is on work!)
If rose is not your pick, you can also pick from the jasmine and peppermint burners that come in yellow and green colours. I wish they would have packed in some memory space also…it could have been a rocking air freshner then…isn’t?

If you are fed up of looking at your PC the whole day and recreation for you is limited to those computer games at max since your job doesn’t give you the flexibility to move out and relax then take a chill pill! I’m saying this as here is another computer game (don’t get irritated) with a difference. This one gives you mobility too. We are talking about the computer connected PC-Dart Game. All you need to get the game in your office is a USB port on your computer and 120€.
With this much at your end, all you need to do is have fun by installing the dart board on the wall and connection in the PC. As you hit the target, your screen will display the score to keep the competition levels high!
Not just this, it also features a number of gaming modes to keep you glued to the game even after frequent plays.
Initially the game will be available only in Japan and we hope to get hands on it in other countries as well. After all, recreation cannot be limited to a particular country.
But if you want to catch the action life, you can have a look at the video here.

I wish I was rich. I’m not saying this purely for the reason that every second day I drool over new and astonishingly hi-tech gadgets keep hitting the market and usually they are out of my reach. What left me drooling this time was this amazing LCD TV. The USP of this TV is that it is hidden behind a mirror.
Yes, there are a number of such TVs in the market that are either concealed behind cabinets or walls, but what caught my fancy this time was the Reflections TV Mirror from FrameMyTV.
Here it is an advanced quality beamsplitter mirror that conceals the TV screen. When in OFF mode, the mirror turns into a smokey mirror gibing an antique feel and no body can differentiate if it’s a mirror or a TV. And as you switch it ‘On’, the smokiness vanishes away giving way to a clear screen to feature your favourite TV show.
If you are thinking that the mirror might not give the desrired quality of image since its not a regular thing than don’t worry for the image will be crystal clear, since there’s 7% light absorbtion.
Price ranges between $650 for 32-inch screen to $1,179 for 61-inch screen.

I am a sucker for multipurpose gadgets. One, because I live in a small apartment and two, because they are just like me- yeah… multitasking! The reason why I’m telling this to you here is because I got hold of one such appliance for my home that combines the features of an Oven and a pop-up toaster. This one comes from the house of Avanti.
You are most welcome to argue that who can stop you from toasting your bread in that oven. No problems in that only if you are keen enough to get some swelling electricity bills. After all the energy needed to toast two slices won’t decrease in an oven, since it won’t get hot in part and parcel.
This is where the Avanti Oven cum Toaster takes over as it is part slotting toaster that uses less electricity and heats more quickly.
In short it is a smart investment to get a chic value for your money not just while buying the oven but also over the time as you keep increasing your savings every time you toast your bread or bake your cake, in a single gadget!
