The latest UPMC from the house of Amtek is the iTablet T221. This one homes some of the coolest features including a 12.1-inch LCD touchscreen (1024 x 768), Intel Core Duo (1.2Ghz), GMA 950 graphic chipset, 60GB HDD, 2GB RAM and supports 802.11a/b/g wireless networks.
The features sound pretty interesting and tempting at the same time, but there’s no information available on the price structure of the little wonder.
As far as the operating system is concerned, iTablet will work on Windows
Vista…that’s enough to prepare us that the price tag is surely going to be a fat one.

If you are looking for a full scale 1080p big screen, here are two interesting options that may gather your attention. VUDU, a VOD service that proposes immediate access of HD, TV shows and numerous movies online has inked deal with Sharp to endorse Free Vudu set of box with $50 of movies on a purchase of a 42″ and up 1080p Aquos LCD.
Agreed, the sound of ‘voodoo’ might not win your wife’s heart but this can be compensated by taking home Panasonic Plasma with Blu-Ray player. Panasonic is operating a special with $499 saving on a 42″ or 50″ 1080p plasma TV with the purchase of DMP-BD30K 1080p Blu-ray Disc player. To my knowledge, this would be one of its kind standalone Blu-Ray player to date with profile 1.1 and HBR Bitstream.

While a month ago, the news in the air was an exclusive laptop from Korea’s own Pixel Lab and then it’s easy to understand if the lid design would be embraced by the people. And now the Korean firm is in news for offering another RippleNote lineup. The 17-inch PLK570 features some appealing hardware too, counting a WXGA+ (1,440 x 900) panel, NVIDIA’s GeForce 8700M GT, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 160GB 7,200RPM SATA drive, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, gigabit Ethernet and WiFi to boot. Other flaunting features include Bluetooth, a multi-card reader, DVI / S-Video outputs, FireWire and audio in / out ports. I am still not swayed if it would cost $2,466 but would suggest you to wait and watch the show.

Now speaking through ears is possible. Japan’s electronics giant Sanyo Electric has lately unveiled “E-mimi kun”. The device has built-in earphone and microphone that allows clear conversation regardless of noisy surroundings. It can also perceive air sensations inside the ear. The earphone and a supplementary tool gets on to a job after connecting it to a mobile phone, or wirelessly to a Bluetooth handset, enabling users not to cover their mouth when speaking in a loud milieu.
The earpiece cuts down the outside noise by almost six-times. Also, the chip produced by Sanyo Electric for the complementary device lessens sound levels almost ten-times. NS-ELEX claims the necessity of the product can be realized by people spending major hours in factories, bistro and amusement parks. It is expected to hit the market by April 2008.

Starting from today, in this section I’ll post what all caught my attention in the world of gadgets but got miss from finding a place at the GadgetsBlog for reasons unknown.
though, the reasons is just one…there’s no dearth of good stuff).
So with this feature I’ll not just chuck the guilt of not talking about some real good stuff, out of me but will also give my readers a window to the blogosphere.
Here we go with ‘My Gadget-Picks this week’:

1. There are talks about the unspecified confirmation that a 2GB and 32GB Zen is coming in flash form…I’m lovi’ it already!

2. Dunno how I missed on this one. The soccer ball cum remote control is indeed a gadget worth vying for…

3. More than the tech part, what I loved about hese was the sensuous red colour and the unique shape that makes Teresonic’s Magus compact speakers, more of an object-de-art.

4. A little scientific knowledge is good without any doubts. Very soon we’ll have a system to convert waste heat from factories, into food-grade baking soda…hope Global warming will get a good kick!
5. Last but not the least. A self help for men who just dream about making their gal happy in bed…now you can hear a happy woman in the Orgasmo clock!

Good news for the gamers! At last! Sony has heard your calls and criers and finally decided to release a new and upgraded and longer lasting battery for the good old PSP.
Buying the new battery you’ll add 20% longer battery life for the original models and 80% longer into the latest slimmer PSP-2000 models. The all new battery will be available across the counters in min December for a chic price of $45. You’ll also get along a battery cover as the battery is a bit big for the newer PSPs.
So, if you are OK with having that big thing on your slim PSP, that too in an era where ‘slim is sexy’ then the new battery is just the right thing for you.
