In-built microprocessor in Adidas Shoe or iPod in Nike. Which one do u want?
They say the person who moves with time would surely get success but I think a small amendment in this would do wonders. A person who walks with time (technology) would surely achieve success. How is this?
Presently, all the footwear mega-brands are making efforts to bring technology-oriented ingredient in its innovative shoe-designs (Slippers, flip-flops, sandals, stilettos, sneakers, boots). Now miles can easily be crossed will the techy shoes with in-built microprocessor chips and sensors. This helps in automatically adjustment of your locomotion to those that reads and records the kilometers trod, measures the pace of walk and calories burnt.
Adidas latest invention of the ‘Adidas OneĀ“ has a 20MHz-microprocessor and a sensor that gets adjusted to running conditions. “It has a microchip and it gives you extra cushion as per the requirement of the athlete or the surface. It is called worlds most intelligent shoe,” says an Adidas official. This collection will suit the summer trend and is surely a blessing for tech-freaks.
Nike is also geared up and its technology-driven face is clear via its in-built iPod. “This shoe will talk to your iPod, providing you instant audio feedback of your time, distance, pace, and calories burned,” says Shekhar at a Nike showroom. The combination of the shoe and the iPod costs Rs 6,200 plus Rs 2,300.
“We have summer special shoes also which are light in weight and more flexible with a high performance impact protection, every time your feet hit the ground,” he adds.
