web search on cellphone

The three technology giants viz. Google, Microsoft and Yahoo have all eyes and ears on cellphones. And why not? After all it’s the lifeline of every individual today.
Guess what will be the venue (battleground) for the Internet search wars that are soon to happen?

No Guesses. Okeah. The mobile platforms, yup, the heat inside the cabins of techno giants is about this only. After pay-per click advertising now the hot issue is to be the king of mobile space by offering a quick web search of their choice on their ready handsets.
As per the rumours, Google has built a prototype phone with its own software inside to look into the issue.

Unlike computers, which allow access to the search engine of their choice, one donot have this functionality in cellphones. But can expect soon as carriers have the ability to analyse which search engine is easy to access and which is not through placement in their phones’ menus.
